Savoir Media Wins Gold International Stevie Award for Women in Business and Is Named Bronze Winner for the Best in Biz Awards for Best Public Relations Campaign of 2012

Belmont, MA (Nov. 2012) – Savoir Media, LLC, a strategic communications consulting firm, is pleased to announce that it won two top business awards for Best Public Relations Campaign of 2012.

Savoir Media was awarded a Gold International Stevie Award for Women in Business for "Communications Campaign of the Year – Marketing – B2B," a global competition produced by the creators of the prestigious International Business Awards and American Business Awards. The Stevie is widely considered to be the world's premier business award, and its Women in Business competition this year included submissions from more than 1,200 organizations and individuals from 17 nations. Winners were selected by more than 200 executives worldwide that participated in the judging process.

Savoir Media was also named a Bronze winner for "PR Campaign of the Year" by the Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts. More than 400 entries were received in this year's awards program from a wide array of public and private companies in the U.S. and Canada. Winners were determined by an independent panel of 32 judges from top-tier news, business and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms, such as ABC, Businessweek, Computerworld, Financial Times, Forbes, USA Today and FOX News.

Savoir Media developed a PR campaign for Allied Minds, a Boston-based private investment company, that wanted to announce a series of groundbreaking partnership agreements with The Aerospace Corp., US RDECOM and NSWC Crane, three of the largest research centers and laboratories funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. The agreements aim to create the first institutionalized approach to commercializing inventions developed within federal labs.

These first-of-its-kind Public-Private partnerships allow Allied Minds to research the commercial viability of inventions available for public access, and invest capital to build companies around them. Allied Minds will initially deploy $100 million, and aims to form 20 companies in the first 12 months – creating valuable high-technology jobs.

This is Savoir Media's second International Stevie Award for Women in Business. In 2009, the company also won Communications Campaign of the Year.
