Why We Love Their Story
The award-winning DaysAgo Digital Day Counter, manufactured by double u products, helps time-crunched, on-the-go families monitor and organize their daily lives. Kathleen Whitehurst, CEO and co-founder of double u products, originally designed DaysAgo to help busy moms keep track of the food in their refrigerators for their families' safety. Now, DaysAgo has become a lifestyle product for which consumers themselves are always finding new uses.

DaysAgo also offers a special Pink edition of the gadget. A breast cancer survivor, Kathleen is committed to supporting breast cancer awareness – and to encouraging women of all ages to get into the habit of doing regular self breast exams. 10% of all sales of the pink DaysAgo is donated to breast cancer research and support organizations.

How We Work Together
Savoir Media executed a Total Media PlanTM package in the U.S. and Canada that included:

  • Public Relations
  • Media Training
  • Social Media and Online Strategy: Developed four promotional videos distributed online and planning, creation and management of DaysAgo social media presence and image
  • Content Strategy and Development: Write content for grant and award applications, trade show preparation, catalog descriptions, and their website Savoir Media also planned, created, and managed the DaysAgo social media presence and image.

What We Helped Achieve
Savoir Media contributed to the successful launch and continued growth of the DaysAgo Digital Day Counter through:

  • Broadcast spots on television networks in Los Angeles and San Francisco, where co-founder Kathleen Whitehurst appeared on the program "View from the Bay"
  • Coverage in newspaper stories across the country, including the San Jose Mercury News, Fresno Bee, and San Antonio Business Journal
  • Numerous product reviews and editorial placements in influential, market-specific blogs, online gift guides, and other online media
  • Creation of the original social media presence for DaysAgo and double u products
